To enhance the Friday Morning Book Group's discussion of Girl with a Pearl Earring by Tracy Chevalier, Rakestraw Books is sponsoring a special field trip to the De Young Museum in San Francisco to view the special exhibition, "Girl with a Pearl Earring: Dutch Paintings from Mauritshuis."

This special event will take place on Tuesday, 19 March 2013. Our private docent-led tour will begin promptly at 9 AM, so we will be be leaving, by car pool, from the Sycamore Park & Ride at 7 AM. Tickets are $20 plus a small fee for the docent. Tickets are non-refundable. Space is limited, so please call us as soon as possible, if you're interested in taking part.
